Carwyn Balch
Carwyn is a passionate and well-informed technologist, with particular expertise in resolving the technical issues that prevent software products from scaling.
He has successfully removed performance bottlenecks from both software and devops, often reducing infrastructure costs at the same time, for clients in both the private and public sectors. As an experienced software engineer and architect, he has also developed software for clients and within his own startups.
Carwyn studied at Cardiff Metropolitan University and is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
In his spare time, he re-enacts historic events from the Napoleonic period 1809–12 with the 23rd Royal Welch (sic) Fusiliers.
